From 1 July 2021, online payments can only be confirmed via the app or SMS
It will no longer be possible to be emailed one-time authorisation codes to confirm online payments using debit cards.
From 1 July 2021, the following options only are available to confirm online payments:
- the PPF banka e-Token app, or
- an e-PIN together with a one-time authorisation code sent by SMS.
The advantage of the PPF banka e-Token app is that it is a fast, user-friendly and safe method of confirming payments without having to retype any authorisation codes. All you need is an Android or iOS smartphone – download and activate the PPF banka e-Token app on it and you are ready to simply confirm online payments.
If you prefer to confirm online payments with an e-PIN together with a one-time authorisation code sent by SMS, you will see the following payment verification screen from 1 July 2021:
